1. Suspension - 60 Days 2. Effective June 8, 2005 The Grievance Administrator filed a petition on March 24, 2005 seeking entry of an order suspending the respondent's license to practice law for 60 days for his failure to comply with the hearing panel's order of August 27, 2003. Pursuant to the order and the stipulation between the parties, respondent was to make restitution payments and file written proof of payment of restitution with the Attorney Grievance Commission and the Attorney Discipline Board. Both the order and the stipulation stated that in the event the respondent failed to timely satisfy the condition of restitution, the hearing panel shall file an order of suspension for 60 days upon the filing of an affidavit by the Grievance Administrator. The Grievance Administrator's petition was accompanied by the affidavit of associate counsel that respondent had failed to timely satisfy the restitution condition of the panels= order.
The hearing panel ordered that respondent's license to practice law be suspended for 60 days and that his eligibility to file an affidavit for automatic reinstatement shall be conditioned upon his filing written proof that he has made full restitution as previously ordered.
