NOTICE OF REPRIMAND (By Consent)

1. Reprimand 2. Effective April 2, 2005 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5), containing respondent=s plea of no contest to the allegation that he notarized a quitclaim deed and affidavit with the representation that the documents had been acknowledged by each of the heirs before him.
Respondent was charged with violations of MCR 9.104(A)(1)-(4) and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 8.4(a)-(c). The parties agreed that respondent should be reprimanded and assessed costs in the amount of $765.33.
On April 22, 2005, the complainant filed a motion for reconsideration which was denied by the Board on May 5, 2005.
