Effective February 16, 2005 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5), containing respondent=s plea of nolo contendere to the allegation that, as lawyer-guardian ad litem, he neglected a legal matter entrusted to him.
Respondent was charged with violations of MCR 9.104(A)(4); Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c) and 8.4(a); and MCL 712A.17d(1)(d). The parties agreed that respondent should be reprimanded. Costs were assessed in the amount of $760.22.
