ORDER OF REINSTATEMENT

On June 5, 2019, Tri-County Hearing Panel #57 entered an Order of Suspension, in this matter suspending respondent from the practice of law in Michigan for 60 days, effective November 6, 2019. Respondent filed a petition for review and request for stay and the discipline ordered by the hearing panel was automatically stayed pursuant to MCR 9.115(K). After review proceedings were conducted, the Board affirmed the hearing panel's order in its entirety in an order entered on October 8, 2019. Respondent filed an application for leave to appeal with the Michigan Supreme Court, which was denied on March 4, 2020. Respondent’s 60 day suspension became effective March 25, 2020.

On June 24, 2020, respondent, Ernest Friedman, submitted an affidavit pursuant to MCR 9.123(A), stating that he has fully complied with all requirements of the Order of Suspension. On June 26, 2020, the Board was advised that the Grievance Administrator had no objection to the affidavit; and the Board being otherwise advised;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that respondent, Ernest Friedman, P 26642, is REINSTATED to the practice of law in Michigan effective June 26, 2020.
