FINAL NOTICE OF REVOCATION AND RESTITUTION Case No. 04-152-GA Notice Issued: July 29, 2005 Richard C. Littlefield, P 32222, Southfield, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board increasing Tri-County Hearing Panel #56's order of discipline from a three year suspension to revocation.

1. Revocation 2. Effective March 12, 2005 The respondent was found to be in default for his failure to file an answer to the formal complaint and failure to appear at the public hearing. Based on his default, the panel found that respondent, in a landlord/tenant matter, abandoned his client=s matter; failed to move to withdraw from representation; and failed to respond to his client=s and his successor counsel=s requests for information or materials. Additionally, respondent represented two clients while suspended from the practice of law in Michigan. Finally, respondent failed to file affidavits in accordance with MCR 9.119 and MCR 9.123(A) regarding his previous suspension; and failed to file answers to three requests for investigation served by the Grievance Administrator.

Respondent was charged with violations of MCR 9.104(1)-(4), (7) and (9); MCR 9.113(A) and (B)(2); MCR 9.119; MCR 9.123; and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.2(a); 1.3; 1.4(a); 1.5; 1.16(a) and (d); 3.2; 3.4(c) 5.5(a); 8.1(a)(2); and 8.4(a) and (c). The panel ordered that respondent=s license be suspended for three years and that he pay restitution in the amount of $2,600.00.

The Grievance Administrator filed a timely petition for review and respondent failed to appear at the review hearing. Upon review, the Board issued its order and opinion increasing Tri-County Hearing Panel #56's order of discipline to a revocation of respondent=s license to practice law. Costs were assessed in the amount of $1,850.20.
