Effective January 7, 2005 Petitioner=s license to practice law in Michigan was suspended for 45 days effective December 20, 1980; 60 days effective December 23, 1981; and revoked on July 6, 1982. His petition for reinstatement, filed in accordance with MCR 9.123(B) and MCR 9.124, was granted by Tri-County Hearing Panel #29, which concluded that petitioner had satisfactorily established his eligibility for reinstatement in accordance with those court rules.
On July 2, 2001, the hearing panel entered an order granting the petition for reinstatement subject to the following conditions: 1) petitioner=s recertification by the Board of Law Examiners in accordance with MCR 9.123(C); 2) petitioner=s active membership in the State Bar of Michigan; and 3) payment of the costs assessed in this matter in the amount of $1,099.47.
As of January 7, 2005, petitioner had complied with all of those conditions and his reinstatement is deemed to be effective that date. Petitioner is subject to continuing conditions upon his active reinstatement to the practice of law.
