NOTICE OF SUSPENSION (By Consent)

Case No. 20-33-RD Notice Issued: December 4, 2020 Anthony P. Spinazze, P 66408, Sylvania, Ohio, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #2

Suspension - One Year, Effective March 17, 2020 The Grievance Administrator filed a notice of filing of reciprocal discipline pursuant to MCR 9.120(C) accompanied by a certified copy of an order from the Supreme Court of Ohio dated March 16, 2020, suspending respondent’s license to practice law in Ohio for a period of six months, effective March 17, 2020, Disciplinary Counsel v Anthony Perin Spinaaze, Ohio Supreme Court Case No. 2019-1075. On July 15, 2020, the Board issued an Order of Referral to Hearing Panel for Disposition and Briefing Order referring this matter to Tri-County Hearing Panel #2 for disposition, pursuant to MCR 9.120(C)(6), and in accord with paragraph (3) of MCR 9.120(C).

Respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a Stipulation for Consent Order of Discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5), which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel.

Based on respondent's admissions, the stipulation of the parties, and the Ohio Supreme Court’s order, the panel found that satisfactory proof existed of the adjudication of the Ohio disciplinary proceeding, and thus reciprocal and comparable discipline of a one-year suspension of respondent’s license to practice law in Michigan was appropriate. Total costs were assessed in the amount of $750.00.
