NOTICE OF SUSPENSION Case No. 03-10-RD Notice Issued: November 23, 2004 Linda Sue Cook, P 49870, Sylvania, Ohio, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #11.

1. Suspension - 179 Days 2. Effective November 20, 2004 Based upon an order entered in the Supreme Court of Ohio on November 6, 2002, the respondent was suspended from the practice of law in Ohio for one year for having prepared a will and/or a trust instrument for a client which named as a beneficiary a corporation wholly owned by respondent=s siblings. Six months of that one year

suspension was suspended on condition that respondent complete a course on legal ethics and office management. The Attorney Discipline Board assigned this matter to a hearing panel and ordered respondent to show cause why a reciprocal order of discipline should not be entered in accordance with MCR 9.104

On March 5, 2003, the panel ordered that respondent be suspended for 179 days. Respondent filed a timely petition for review and motion for stay, which was granted. Upon review, the Attorney Discipline Board issued an order and opinion affirming the hearing panel=s order of suspension on October 22, 2004. Respondent

filed a timely application for leave to appeal to the Supreme Court, along with a motion for immediate consideration and stay. On November 19, 2004, the Supreme Court granted the motion for immediate consideration and denied respondent=s application for

leave to appeal and stay. Total costs were assessed in the amount of $2,180.65.
