1. Reprimand 2. Effective July 7, 2004 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5), containing respondent=s plea of nolo contendere to failing to provide his client with a copy of the settlement agreement which was to be signed and filed with the court; failing to file a response to a motion for order to show cause; failing to appear for the hearing on the motion to show cause; failing to notify his client of the show cause hearing; and failing to notify his client he had moved his office or providing his client with the telephone number and address at the new office.
Respondent was charged with violations of MCR 9.104(A)(1)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.2(a); 1.3; 1.4(a) and (b); 3.2; and 8.4(a) and (c). The parties agreed that respondent should be reprimanded. Costs were assessed in the amount of $770.44.
