Effective April 29, 2004 Petitioner=s license to practice law was originally suspended for three years effective June 16, 2000 but the effective date was subsequently changed to April 29, 2000. His petition for reinstatement, filed in accordance with MCR 9.123(B) and (C) and MCR 9.124, was granted by Tri-County Hearing Panel #57. The panel concluded that petitioner had satisfactorily established his eligibility for reinstatement in accordance with those court rules. On March 26, 2004, the panel issued its order of eligibility for reinstatement conditioned upon petitioner=s re-certification by the State of Michigan Board of Law Examiners and payment of bar dues to the State Bar of Michigan. On April 29, 2004, petitioner had complied with these conditions and petitioner=s reinstatement to the practice of law is deemed to be effective on that date.
On May 3, 2004, the hearing panel entered an order of reinstatement and assessed costs in the amount of $466.58.
