1. Reprimand 2. Effective March 6, 2004 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5), containing respondent=s plea of no contest to having violated her duty and responsibility, in a manner which does not reflect on her honesty or integrity, by unintentionally failing promptly to deposit a portion of disputed client funds into a trust account upon settlement of complex litigation, although the clients= funds were not misapplied, misspent, or misappropriated and the clients have received their funds. Respondent was charged with violations of MCR 9.104(A)(4) and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.15(c) and 8.4(a).
The parties agreed that respondent should be reprimanded. Costs were assessed in the amount of $760.68.
