NOTICE OF REPRIMAND (By Consent)

1. Reprimand 2. Effective February 28, 2004 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5), containing respondent=s plea of nolo contendere to the allegations that respondent negligently revealed a client secret without his client=s consent when he referred in an affidavit to the client=s psychological history obtained during the course of the attorney-client relationship; and failed to send the entire client file to successor counsel when requested to do so. Respondent was charged with violations of MCR 9.0149(A)(1)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.6(a) and (b); 1.16(d); and 8.4(a) and (c).
The parties agreed that respondent should be reprimanded. Costs were assessed in the amount of $760.22.
