Effective February 24, 2004 Respondent was convicted of three misdemeanors: two convictions for Operating Under the Influence of Liquor, in violation of MCL 257.6251-A; and one conviction for Impaired Driving, in violation of MCL 257.6253-A. Respondent did not participate in this disciplinary proceeding, or appear at the public hearing, and the hearing panel ordered that respondent=s license to practice law in Michigan be revoked, effective February 24, 2004, the date of his most recent transfer to inactive status by the State Bar of Michigan for nonpayment of his annual bar dues. Costs were assessed in the amount of $1,763.07.
