Based on respondent=s plea of no contest to resisting or obstructing an officer in discharge of duty, a felony, in violation of MCL 750.479(2), in the Washtenaw County Circuit Court, the hearing panel ordered that respondent be suspended for 180 days, effective February 4, 2004, the date of his conviction. The hearing panel also ordered that respondent shall be subject to conditions relevant to the established misconduct and assessed costs in the amount of $1,711.50.
