Effective October 16, 2003 1 The hearing panel found, by respondent=s admissions and default, that respondent neglected client matters, misrepresented the status of his clients= cases, and improperly made personal payments to his clients. Respondent also failed to timely answer a request for investigation served by the Grievance Administrator.
Respondent's conduct was found to be in violation of MCR 9.104(A)(1)-(4); MCR 9.113(A); and MCR 9.113(B)(2); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.2(a); 1.3; 1.4(a) and (b); 8.1(a)(2); and 8.4(a)-(c). The panel issued an order revoking respondent's license to practice in Michigan and assessed costs in the amount of $1,857.99.
