NOTICE OF REPRIMAND (By Consent)

1. Reprimand 2. Effective September 27, 2003 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5), containing respondent=s plea of no contest to the allegations that, while suspended from the practice of law for failing to pay bar dues, he made court appearances on behalf of a client; failed to provide written notice to his client, the court and the prosecuting attorney of his suspension from the practice of law; and failed to file the requisite affidavit of compliance concerning notification of suspension with the Attorney Grievance Commission and the Attorney Discipline Board. Respondent was charged with violations of MCR 9.104(A)(1)-(4); MCR 9.119(A)-(E); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 5.5(a); and 8.4(a)-(c).
The parties agreed that respondent should be reprimanded. Costs were assessed in the amount of $764.18.
