1. Reinstated 2. Effective October 9, 2003. Petitioner was suspended from the practice of law for a period of one year, effective February 26, 2001. His petition for reinstatement filed in accordance with MCR 9.123(B) and MCR 9.124 was granted by Tri-County Hearing Panel #1. The panel concluded that petitioner had satisfactorily established his eligibility for reinstatement in accordance with those court rules. On October 1, 2003, the panel issued its order of eligibility for reinstatement conditioned upon petitioner=s payment of bar dues to the State Bar of Michigan. On October 9, 2003, petitioner complied with this condition and petitioner=s reinstatement to the practice of law is deemed to be effective on that date.
On October 9, 2003, the hearing panel entered a final order of reinstatement, with conditions that respondent=s trust account be monitored for two years by a certified public accountant and that he attend the Ethics School presented by the State Bar of Michigan. Costs were assessed in the amount of $749.51.
