1. Dismissal 2. Effective July 17, 2003 The Grievance Administrator filed Formal Complaint 02-108-GA alleging that respondent failed to deliver $2,460.00 of insurance settlement proceeds to his client; failed to keep the monies separate after being notified that there was a dispute; and misappropriated the monies. Respondent=s conduct was alleged to have been in violation of MCR 9.104(A)(2)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.15(b) and (c); and 8.4(a).
A public hearing was held and the hearing panel, finding no misconduct, issued an order dismissing Formal Complaint 02-108-GA. The Grievance Administrator filed a petition for review and on October 31, 2003, the Attorney Discipline Board issued an order affirming the hearing panel=s dismissal. No costs were assessed against respondent.
