Effective July 30, 2003.
On July 30, 2003, respondent pled nolo contendere to the charge of felonious assault, in violation of MCL 750.82, in the Wayne County Circuit Court. In accordance with MCR 9.120(B)(1), respondent=s license to practice law in Michigan was automatically suspended on the date of that felony conviction.
Upon the filing of a certified copy of the judgment of conviction, the Attorney Discipline Board will enter an order directing respondent to show cause why a final order of discipline should not be entered.
