Based on respondent=s conviction of the felonies of Forgery, in violation of MCL 750.248, and Uttering and Publishing, in violation of MCL 750.249, in the Ottawa County Circuit Court; and three counts of false pretenses, in violation of MCL 750.2185A, and blue sky laws-fraudulent schemes, in violation of MCL 451.501, in the Muskegon County Circuit Court, the hearing panel ordered that respondent=s license to practice law in Michigan be revoked, effective June 9, 2003, the date of respondent=s conviction in the Ottawa County Circuit Court. The panel also ordered that respondent shall not be eligible to petition for reinstatement unless he has fully complied with the restitution ordered in Ottawa County Circuit Court, Case Nos. 03-27257-FH and 03-026888-FH; and Muskegon County Circuit Court, Case Nos. 03-049013-FH-A and 03-049012-FH-A. Costs were assessed in the amount of $1,715.34.
