1. Revocation. 2. Effective July 11, 2003 1 The hearing panel found, by default, that in a probate matter, respondent misappropriated funds from the sale of real estate; and made misrepresentations to the heirs of the estate and the probate court concerning the availability and status of the proceeds from the sale of the real estate. Respondent=s conduct was found to be in violation of MCR 9.104(A)(1)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.5; 1.15(a)-(c); 3.3(a); and 8.4(a)-(c). The panel ordered that respondent=s license be revoked and that he pay restitution in the amount of $52,652.53, plus interest. Costs were assessed in the amount of $1,716.17.
