Respondent was convicted by guilty plea on February 16, 2007 in the Livingston County Circuit Court for felony of possession of cocaine under 25 grams. In accordance with MCR 9.1 20(B)(1), respondents license to practice law in Michigan was automatically suspended on the date of his felony conviction. Upon the filing of a judgment of conviction, this matter will be assigned to a hearing panel for further proceedings. The interim suspension will remain in effect until the effective date of an order filed by a hearing panel.
