NOTICE OF REPRIMAND (By Consent)
Case No. 03-21-GA Notice Issued: March 26, 2003 Jeffrey J. Randa, P 43659, Mt. Clemens, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #105.
1. Reprimand; 2. Effective March 26, 2003. The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5), containing respondent's plea of no contest to the allegations that, in a bankruptcy matter, he filed an AAffirmation of Amendments to Chapter 7 Petition@ with the bankruptcy court knowing that the document purported to be signed by his clients when they had no knowledge of the document and had not authorized its filing. Respondent was charged with violations of MCR 9.104(A)(1)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.4(b) and 8.4(a) and (c). The parties agreed that respondent should be reprimanded. Costs were assessed in the amount of $910.99.
