1. Reprimand; 2. Effective March 25, 2003. The hearing panel found that respondent, in a divorce matter, failed to file an amended order with the General Motors Pension Administration Center on his client=s behalf; failed to take any further action in the matter; failed to respond to his client=s requests for information regarding the status of her matter; and failed to keep his client reasonably informed about the status of her matter. Respondent's conduct was in violation of MCR 9.104(1)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.2(a); 1.3; 1.4(a); 3.2; and 8.4(a) and (c).
The panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded and assessed costs in the amount of $1,435.10.
