On March 6, 2003, respondent entered pleas of guilty to two counts of attempting to obtain a controlled substance by fraud in the Calhoun County Circuit Court. In accordance with MCR 9.120(B)(1), respondent=s license to practice law in Michigan was automatically suspended on the date of that felony conviction.
Upon the filing of a certified copy of the judgment of conviction, the Attorney Discipline Board will enter an order directing respondent to show cause why a final order of discipline should not be entered.
