NOTICE OF REPRIMAND (By Consent)
Case No. 03-23-GA Notice Issued: March 26, 2003 Daniel P. Feinberg, P 38356, Detroit, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #22.
1. Reprimand; 2. Effective March 22, 2003. The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5), containing respondent's plea of no contest to the allegations that he failed to return his client's property in a timely fashion; and engaged in a conflict of interest when he loaned his client $6,000.00 while her suits were contemplated and/or pending. Respondent was charged with violations of MCR 9.104(A)(1)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.8(e); 1.15(b); and 8.4(a)-(c). The parties agreed that respondent should be reprimanded. Costs were assessed in the amount of $755.34.
