1. Reprimand; 2. Effective January 29, 2003. Respondent admitted, on the record, that he was convicted of a probation violation, a misdemeanor. The hearing panel found, by default, that respondent failed to notify the Attorney Grievance Commission and the Attorney Discipline Board of his probation violation conviction and failed to file an answer to a request for investigation served by the Grievance Administrator. Respondent's conduct was in violation of MCR 9.104(A)(1)-(4) and (7); MCR 9.113(A); MCR 9.113(B)(2); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 8.1(a) and 8.4(a) and (c).
The panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded with conditions relative to the established misconduct. Costs were assessed in the amount of $344.03.
