NOTICE OF REVOCATION AND RESTITUTION (By Consent)

1. Revocation; 2. Effective January 8, 2003. 1 The respondent and the Grievance Administrator submitted a stipulation for consent order of discipline in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5) which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and was accepted by a hearing panel. Respondent entered a plea of no contest to allegations that he, without notice, abandoned the representation of two clients; and failed to answer two requests for investigation and a formal complaint served upon him by the Grievance Administrator.
Respondent=s conduct was alleged to be in violation of MCR 9.104(A)(1)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.2(a); 1.3; 1.4(a); 3.2; and 8.4(a) and (c). The parties further stipulated to the entry of an order revoking respondent=s license to practice law in Michigan. Restitution was ordered in the aggregate amount of $16,600.00 and costs were assessed in the amount of $1,038.86.
