NOTICE OF REPRIMAND (By Consent)
Case Nos. 01-164-GA Notice Issued: February 10, 2003 Ivie J. Shelton, P-44411, Southfield, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #55.
1. Reprimand; 2. Effective February 8, 2003. The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5), containing an amendment adding paragraph 20(d). The stipulation also contained respondent's plea of no contest to the allegation in paragraph 20(d) that he negligently failed to properly maintain client funds in a client trust account. Respondent was charged with violations of Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.15(a)-(c). The parties agreed that respondent should be reprimanded and that the remainder of Formal Complaint 01-164-GA be dismissed. Costs were assessed in the amount of $25.50.
