1. Reinstated; 2. Effective October 16, 2002. Petitioner's license to practice law in Michigan was suspended for a period of eight months effective July 31, 2001. Petitioner filed his petition for reinstatement in accordance with MCR 9.123(B) and MCR 9.124. The panel concluded that petitioner had satisfactorily established his eligibility for reinstatement in accordance with the guidelines of those court rules. On October 4, 2002, St. Clair County Hearing Panel #1 entered an order granting the petition for reinstatement, subject to petitioner's active membership in the State Bar of Michigan. As of October 16, 2002, petitioner had complied with that condition and his reinstatement is deemed to be effective that date. Costs were assessed in the amount of $606.49.
