NOTICE OF REINSTATEMENT Case No. 02-71-RP Notice Issued: November 18, 2002 John J. Martin, III, P-25888, Troy, Michigan, by Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #74.

1. Reinstated; 2. Effective October 3, 2002. Petitioner's license to practice law in Michigan was suspended for a period of 180 days effective March 1, 2002. Petitioner filed his petition for reinstatement in accordance with MCR 9.123(B) and MCR 9.124. The panel concluded that petitioner had satisfactorily established his eligibility for reinstatement in accordance with the guidelines of those court rules. At the public hearing on October 3, 2002, Tri-County Hearing Panel #74 granted the petition for reinstatement, effective immediately, subject to petitioner's active membership in the State Bar of Michigan, and issued an interim order granting the petition. As of October 3, 2002, petitioner had complied with this requirement and his reinstatement is deemed to be effective that date.

On October 25, 2002, the hearing panel entered a final order granting the petition for reinstatement with the condition that petitioner participate in a mentoring program for a period of two years from the effective date of reinstatement. Costs were assessed in the amount of $451.17.
