1. Suspension - 4 Years 2. Effective September 9, 2002 On March 20, 2003, respondent was convicted in the Bay County Circuit Court of Perjury - Incite or Procure Court Proceeding, a felony, contrary to MCR 750.425-B. In accordance with MCR 9.120(B)(1), respondent=s license to practice law in Michigan was automatically suspended on the date of that felony conviction.
The Grievance Administrator and respondent filed a stipulation for consent order of discipline pursuant to MCR 9.115(F)(5). The hearing panel ordered that respondent be suspended for four years, effective September 9, 2002, and assessed costs in the amount of $837.56.
