Notice Issued: August 1, 2002 Geno T. Zayid, P-36629, Commerce Township, Michigan. Effective July 15, 2002. On July 15, 2002, respondent was convicted, in the Untied States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan, of one count of Filing a Fraudulent Tax Return, a felony, in violation of 26 USC 7206(1). In accordance with MCR 9.120(B)(1), respondent=s license to practice law in Michigan was automatically suspended on the date of his felony conviction.
This matter has been assigned to a hearing panel for further proceedings. The interim suspension will remain in effect until the effective date of an order filed by a hearing panel.
