NOTICE OF PROBATION WITH CONDITIONS (By Consent)
Case Nos. 01-106-GA; 01-118-FA Notice Issued: September 10, 2002 Mosabi Hamed, P-34663, Southfield, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #29.
1. Probation - 1 Year; 2. Effective August 15, 2002. Based upon the hearing panel's finding of misconduct, by default, the respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5) which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. Respondent failed to file answers to a request for investigation and a formal complaint filed by the Grievance Administrator. Respondent's conduct was in violation of MCR 9.104(A)(1)-(4) and (7); MCR 9.113(A); MCR 9.113(B)(2); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 8.1(b) and 8.4(a) and (c).
By stipulation, the parties agreed that respondent should be placed on probation, with conditions, for a period of one year pursuant to MCR 9.121(C)(1). Costs were assessed in the amount of $321.43.
