2. Effective June 28, 2002. The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5). The stipulation was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. Respondent pled no contest to allegations that he sought to mislead his client by the submission of a document which purported to be a court order, when he knew that the document had been altered from its original condition to reflect inaccurate information. Respondent was charged with violations of MCR 9.104(A)(1)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.4(a) and (b); and 8.4(a)-(c). The parties stipulated to the entry of an order suspending respondent=s license to practice law for three years. Costs were assessed in the amount of $16.40.
