1. Reinstated; 2. Effective June 18, 2002. Petitioner's license to practice law in Michigan was suspended for a period of 180 days effective January 20, 1999. Petitioner filed his petition for reinstatement in accordance with MCR 9.123(B) and MCR 9.124. The panel concluded that petitioner had satisfactorily established his eligibility for reinstatement in accordance with the guidelines of those court rules. On May 1, 2002, Saginaw County Hearing Panel #1 entered an order granting the petition for reinstatement, subject to petitioner's active membership in the State Bar of Michigan. As of June 18, 2002, petitioner had complied with that condition and his reinstatement is deemed to be effective that date. Petitioner is still subject to continuing conditions upon engaging in the active practice of law. Costs were assessed in the amount of $854.91.
