1. Dismissal; 2. Effective May 21, 2002. The Grievance Administrator filed Formal Complaint 00-18-GA alleging that respondent failed to refund an unearned fee and charged a clearly excessive fee; and made false statements in her answer to the request for investigation served by the Grievance Administrator. Respondent=s conduct was alleged to have been in violation of MCR 9.104(1)-(4) and (6); MCR 9.113(A); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.5(a); 1.15(b); 8.1(a); and 8.4(a)-(c).
A public hearing was held and the hearing panel entered an order dismissing Formal Complaint 00-18-GA. No costs were assessed against respondent.
