On April 15, 2002, respondent entered a plea of guilty, in the United States District Court, Wester District of Michigan, to one count of tax evasion, a felony, in violation of 26 U.S.C. '7201. The Grievance Administrator and respondent filed a stipulation for consent order of discipline pursuant to MCR 9.115(F)(5). The hearing panel ordered that respondent be suspended for two and one-half years, effective April 15, 2002, the date of his conviction. Costs were assessed in the amount of $106.68.
