1. Dismissal; 2. Effective April 2, 2002. The Grievance Administrator filed Formal Complaint 01-61-GA alleging that respondent, in a divorce matter, had failed to prepare and/or file a QRDO on his client's behalf; failed to maintain reasonable communications with his client; and failed to respond to his client's numerous inquiries concerning her matter. Respondent=s conduct was alleged to have been in violation of MCR 9.104(1)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.2(a); 1.3; 1.4; 1.16(d); and 8.4(a) and (c).
A public hearing was held and the hearing panel entered an order dismissing Formal Complaint 01-61-GA. No costs were assessed against respondent.
