Based on respondent=s conviction of the felonies of Breaking and Entering a Building with the Intent to Commit Larceny, a violation of MCLA 750.110; and Carrying a Concealed Weapon, a violation of MCLA 750.227; and the misdemeanor of Entry without Owner's Permission, a violation of MCLA 750.115, the hearing panel ordered that respondent=s license to practice law in Michigan be suspended for 15 months, effective March 8, 2002, the date of respondent=s conviction.
Both respondent and the Grievance Administrator petitioned for review and, on February 21, 2003, the Attorney Discipline Board issued its order affirming the hearing panel=s order of suspension. A motion for reconsideration, filed by the Grievance Administrator, was denied by the Board and the Grievance Administrator subsequently filed an application for leave to appeal with the Supreme Court, which was denied on September 29, 2003. Costs were assessed in the amount of $2,197.98.
