NOTICE OF SUSPENSION Case No. 01-108-GA Notice Issued: January 7, 2002 Dianne C. Duggan, P-47532, Royal Oak, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #71.

Effective January 5, 2002.

The hearing panel found by default that respondent, in a civil action, failed to comply with discovery requests; failed to comply with the court's order which required her to respond to the discovery requests; allowed the case to be dismissed; failed to pay the costs and attorney fees owing to the defendants in the amount of $7,500.00; failed to keep her client informed regarding the status of the case; and failed to respond to opposing counsel's letters regarding payment of the outstanding costs and fees. Respondent also failed to answer the request for investigation served by the Grievance Administrator. Respondent's conduct was in violation of MCR 9.104(1)-(4) and (7); MCR 9.113(A); MCR 9.113(B)(2); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.2(a); 1.3; 1.4(a); 3.4(a), (c) and (d); 8.1; and 8.4(a) and (c).

The hearing panel ordered that respondent=s license be suspended for 180 days. Costs were assessed in the amount of $206.91.
