NOTICE OF REPRIMAND (By Consent)
Case No. 99-132-GA Notice Issued: January 7, 2002 Patricia M. Cooper, P-37389, Warren, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-County Hearing Panel #104, after remand from the Attorney Discipline Board.
1. Reprimand; 2. Effective December 28, 2001. The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline, in accordance with MCR 9.115(F)(5), accepting the Attorney Discipline Board's finding upon review that respondent neglected a legal matter and failed to act with reasonable diligence and promptness in representing a client. Respondent's conduct was in violation of Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c) and 1.3. The parties agreed that respondent should be reprimanded and costs were assessed in the amount of $2,755.96.
