NOTICE OF SUSPENSION AND RESTITUTION Case No. 02-111-GA Notice Issued: March 26, 2003 Jonathan S. Baker, P-45707, Fenton, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Genesee County Hearing Panel #4.

The hearing panel found, by default, that respondent failed to refund unearned attorney fees in four matters; failed take action on behalf of three clients; abandoned the representation of two clients; failed to communicate with a client; failed to respond to client inquires regarding the status of their matters; and failed to file answers to four requests for investigation served by the Grievance Administrator. Respondent=s conduct was in violation of MCR 9.104(A)(1)-(4), and (7); MCR 9.113(A); MCR 9.113(B)(2); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.2(a); 1.3; 1.4(a) and (b); 1.5(a); 1.16(d); 3.4(c); and 8.4(a) and (c).

The hearing panel ordered that respondent=s license be suspended for four years, to run concurrently with the suspension imposed in Grievance Administrator v Jonathan S. Baker, Case Nos. 01-109-GA; 01-132-FA, and that he pay restitution in the aggregate amount of $4,825.00. Costs were assessed in the amount of $1,736.80.
