NOTICE OF TRANSFER TO INACTIVE STATUS PURSUANT TO MCR 9.121(8)
Case No. 19-82-JC
Notice Issued: December 12,2019
Kirk Yodzevicis, P 61161, Gaylord, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri-Valley Hearing Panel #1 .
Transfer to Inactive Status, Effective December 10, 2019.
The Grievance Administrator filed a Judgment of Conviction, Case No. 19-82-JC, which charged that respondent committed acts of professional misconduct warranting discipline. Based on respondent's own admissions and the evidence presented at the hearing, the panel unanimously determined that respondent is incapacitated from continuing to practice law as defined in MeR 9.121(B)(3}.
Therefore, the panel concluded, in accordance with MCR 9.121 (B)(3), that respondent be transferred to involuntary inactive status for an indefinite period and until further order of the Board. The panel also determined that the transfer of respondent's law license to inactive status would require that the underlying judgment of conviction be held in abeyance pursuant to MCR 9.121(B)(4). The issue of appropriate discipline to impose for respondent's misdemeanor conviction should be addressed if, and when, respondent's license to practice law is reinstated pursuant to MCR 9.121 (E).
On December 10, 2019, Tri-Valley Hearing Panel #1 issued an order transferring respondent's license to inactive status pursuant to MCR 9.121( B) for an indefinite period and until further order of the Board. Ea Mark A. Armitage
