NOTICE OF SUSPENSION (By Consent)

The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline in accordance with MCR 9.115(f)(5) which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. Respondent pled no contest to the allegations of professional misconduct contained in Formal Complaints 00-209-AI, 01-7-JC, and 01-9-JC, specifically: In Formal Complaints 00-209-AI and 01-7-JC, respondent was convicted in the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan of one count of mail fraud, a felony, in violation of 18 U.S.C. '1341. In Formal Complaint 01-9-JC, respondent was convicted of two counts of embezzlement by an agent or trustee, over $100, a felony, in violation of MCL 750.174-B in the Oakland County Circuit Court.

The parties have stipulated that an order may be entered suspending respondent=s license to practice law for period of five years.

The hearing panel ordered that respondent=s license be suspended for five years and costs were assessed in the amount of $29.12.
