On October 26, 2001 respondent was convicted of the felony of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, in violation of MCL 750.145(C)(2). In accordance with MCR 9.120(B)(1), respondent=s license to practice law in Michigan was automatically suspended on the date of his felony conviction.
This matter has been assigned to a hearing panel for further proceedings. The interim suspension will remain in effect until the effective date of an order filed by a hearing panel.
