NOTICE OF REPRIMAND WITH CONDITIONS (By Consent)
Case No. 00-167-GA Notice Issued: September 14, 2001 Williard L. Mikesell, P-17712, Charlotte, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Ingham County Hearing Panel #2.
1. Reprimand; 2. Effective September 7, 2001. The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline in accordance with MCR 9.115(f)(5) which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. Respondent pled no contest to the allegations of breach of fiduciary duties and neglect contained in Count One of Formal Complaint 00-167-GA. Respondent=s conduct was alleged to be in violation of MCR 9.104(1)-(4); MCL 700.541; MCL 700.543; MCL 700.544; MCL 700.563; and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(a)-(c); 1.2(a); 1.3; 1.4; 3.2; and 8.4(a) and (c).
The parties agreed that respondent should be reprimanded with conditions relevant to the established misconduct. The parties further agreed that the balance of Count One and Counts Two and Three of Formal Complaint 00-167-GA may be dismissed.
The hearing panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded with conditions relevant to the established misconduct. Costs were assessed in the amount of $416.42.
