NOTICE OF REPRIMAND WITH CONDITIONS (By Consent)

Case No. 00-148-GA Notice Issued: August 30, 2001 Patricia M. Cooper, P-37389, Warren, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri- County Hearing Panel #103.

1. Reprimand; 2. Effective August 30, 2001. The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline in accordance with MCR 9.115(f)(5) which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. Respondent pled no contest to failing to communicate in a timely manner with her clients, as alleged in Counts One and Four, and to failing to cooperate in a timely manner with the Attorney Grievance Commission during the investigation of the Requests for Investigation, as alleged in Counts Three and Five of Formal Complaint 00-148-GA. Respondent=s conduct was in violation of MCR 9.104(1)-(4) and (7); MCR 9.113(A) and (B); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.4(a) and (b); 8.1(b); and 8.4(a) and (c).

The parties agreed that respondent should be reprimanded with conditions relevant to the established misconduct. The parties further agreed that Count Two of Formal Complaint 00-148-GA may be dismissed.

The hearing panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded with conditions relevant to the established misconduct. Costs were assessed in the amount of $323.75.
