NOTICE OF REPRIMAND (By Consent)

Case No. 01-12-GA Notice Issued: August 28, 2001 Carl S. Wisniewski, P-26101, Birmingham, Michigan, by the Attorney Discipline Board Tri- County Hearing Panel #83.

1. Reprimand; 2. Effective August 28, 2001. The respondent and the Grievance Administrator filed a stipulation for a consent order of discipline in accordance with MCR 9.115(f)(5) which was approved by the Attorney Grievance Commission and accepted by the hearing panel. Respondent pled no contest to the allegations of professional misconduct contained in Count One of Formal Complaint 01-12-GA, specifically: That in probate proceedings, respondent took no further action on his client's behalf after filing the Petition for Commencement in January 1999; failed to keep his client informed of the status of her matter; and failed to promptly comply with his client's requests for information regarding the status of her matter. Respondent=s conduct was in violation of MCR 9.104(1)-(4); and Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(c); 1.3; 1.4(a); 3.2; and 8.4(a) and (c). The parties agreed that respondent may be reprimanded and that Count Two of Formal Complaint 01-12-GA may be dismissed, along with Formal Complaint 01-25-FA.

The hearing panel ordered that respondent be reprimanded and assessed costs in the amount of $244.93.
