1. Suspension - 1 Year; 2. Effective September 5, 2001. Based upon an order of suspension entered September 5, 2001 by the Ohio Supreme Court, the Attorney Discipline Board assigned this matter to a hearing panel and ordered respondent to show cause why a final order of discipline should not be entered in accordance with MCR 9.104. Respondent filed no pleadings and did not appear before the panel.
The panel ordered that respondent be suspended from the practice of law in Michigan for a period of one year retroactive to September 5, 2001. The panel further ordered that respondent would not be eligible to petition for reinstatement until he provides written proof of compliance with the terms and conditions imposed in the Ohio proceedings. Costs were assessed in the amount of $117.54.
